fair trade

Posted by: Abby In: Food and Drink

This morning, I went outside and found a gift from our neighbor, Dave, on Josh’s car.

He must know we’re not early risers, so when he brings us spare veggies like this, he usually just leaves them without a word. It’s not the first time he’s done this so I decided to take him something in return.

Peanut Butter Banana Muffins with Chocolate Chips.

I was out of eggs, so I used this recipe (but adapted it quite heavily).

Turns out, they make a pretty great breakfast too!

I’ve found a really great way to make iced coffee- I brew strong coffee in my percolator and pour it over a glass full of ice, and add cream and sugar. Turns out perfect every time!

Well, it’s a good thing you have a neighbor to share veg – he probably saw the rabbit in your garden and figured you could use some tomatoes! Love the glass straw, I have been making iced coffee that same way, yum.

YUM! Those muffins look delicious. Where is that recipe? Oh, and you know how much I love iced coffee. I wish I could come over for breakfast every morning!
